Luciana Villarreal Romero (she/her)

My name is Luciana Villarreal. I was born and raised in Mexico City but currently live in Florida. While I’ve always been interested in business, I’ve recently become more focused on environmental issues and the consequences of years of neglect. I plan to pursue a dual degree in Business Management and Environmental Studies, aiming to merge my passions for profit and sustainability. I look forward to helping create a more sustainable future.

Darcy Mills (she/her)

I am a passionate student majoring in International Relations and Finance with a strong passion for Environmental Studies. My academic interests, including studying in Campinas, Brazil, and traveling across Latin America, Europe, and Africa, have shaped my focus on the intersection of environmental change and foreign policy. I am curious to understand how sustainability impacts economic growth and am eager to contribute to solutions addressing these global challenges.

Zosima Lyn (she/her)

I am pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Political Economy with minors in Spanish and Portuguese in the Altman Scholars Program. Outside of school, I am incredibly passionate about art. On campus, I am the Co-founder of an arts and culture magazine focused on New Orleans artists, and in my free time, I love to draw and write. Eventually, I would like to combine these two interests and further them simultaneously.

Mateo Proano (he/him)

I am motivated and hardworking and am interested in working in emerging markets helping facilitate innovative solutions to the world's largest problems. I am passionate about using the amazing resources Earth provides us with to help alleviate poor quality of life around the world while also creating economic value.

Mitchell Spector (he/him)

Hi! I am a junior at Tulane University studying Marketing and Latin American Studies, minoring in Finance, with a linguistic focus in Spanish and Portuguese, in the Altman Program. I have a strong interest in global market research and competitive intelligence. In a future job, I hope to combine my interest in marketing with this constantly evolving and growing passion I have for Latin America. Outside of work, I love sports. Basketball and football are my favorites (go Thunder and Patriots).

Oli Marin (she/her)

I will graduate from Tulane with degrees in International Relations and Legal Studies in Business. Through the Altman Program, I had the life-changing opportunity to study in São Paulo, Brazil, and Sevilla, Spain, where I broadened my global perspectives and gained fluency in Portuguese in addition to my native Spanish. My internship with the Alliance for Affordable Energy fueled my passion for conservation science and renewable energy. Looking ahead, I am eager to apply my skills to meaningful work in environmental sustainability while seeking more opportunities to work abroad.

Anna Francesca Hobbins (she/her)

Anna Hobbins is a senior studying Latin American Studies and Legal Studies in Business with a language concentration in Spanish and Portuguese. Through interdisciplinary coursework, immigration policy and advocacy internships and research assistantship, and teaching of English as a Second Language and citizenship classes, she has flourished in her interest in pursuing immigration law in the private and public sectors after graduation. She is passionate about applying legal frameworks to understand migratory movements better and work towards immigrant justice in the U.S.

Sarah Quarles (she/her)

I am currently pursuing a BA in Political Science-International Development and a BSM in Finance and have accepted a full-time analyst role in Goldman Sachs' Wealth Management division. I am extremely passionate about immigration reform and hope to get involved in the field through volunteer work after starting my career in Dallas, TX, next summer. I look forward to exercising my two degrees to help advance both my career and passions.
