Anna Hobbins

Biography

Anna Hobbins is a senior studying Latin American Studies and Legal Studies in Business with a language concentration in Spanish and Portuguese. Through interdisciplinary coursework, immigration policy and advocacy internships and research assistantship, and teaching of English as a Second Language and citizenship classes, she has flourished in her interest in pursuing immigration law in the private and public sectors after graduation. She is passionate about applying legal frameworks to understand migratory movements better and work towards immigrant justice in the U.S. and Latin America.

Anna is interested in working in federal consulting, immigration legal advocacy, and research. She is planning to attend UT-Austin Law School for a dual degree JD program at ITAM-Mexico.
