Ariana Sarangi Virani (she/her)

As a lifelong learner with a passion for language acquisition, Ariana is pursuing dual degrees in International Development and Business Management, with a unique focus on the Middle East and Latin America. In 2023, Ariana's commitment to language learning earned her the Critical Language Scholarship in Nizwa, Oman to study Arabic, and she traveled to Colombia and Spain through the Altman Program during her year abroad, mastering her fluency in Spanish.

Oli Marin (she/her)

I will graduate from Tulane with degrees in International Relations and Legal Studies in Business. Through the Altman Program, I had the life-changing opportunity to study in São Paulo, Brazil, and Sevilla, Spain, where I broadened my global perspectives and gained fluency in Portuguese in addition to my native Spanish. My internship with the Alliance for Affordable Energy fueled my passion for conservation science and renewable energy. Looking ahead, I am eager to apply my skills to meaningful work in environmental sustainability while seeking more opportunities to work abroad. 

Rae Stevenson (she/her)

Rae Stevenson is a senior studying Business Management and Art History with a minor in Germanic Studies. Through her coursework, internships, and study abroad in Berlin and Vienna, she has explored the intersection of art and business and advanced her knowledge of Germanic culture and language. Her international experiences have enhanced her development as an adaptable, inquisitive student. She is interested in exploring the role of arts and humanities in shaping and reflecting the world around us and hopes to use her interdisciplinary skillset in a career in museum or gallery work.

Kalen Ingram (she/her)

Kalen Ingram is pursuing degrees in Finance and International Relations and studying French through the Altman Scholars Program. She studied abroad in Nice, staying with a host family, and in Paris, living in the Belgium and Luxembourg student dorms. Kalen aims to build a career in finance or strategy consulting, with plans to start her own business. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, watching old movies, exploring New Orleans, and discovering new restaurants.

Erica Zhao (she/her)

Erica is a senior pursuing dual degrees in Finance and Art History with a language concentration in French. She hopes to combine her interests in high renaissance art, French art, and financial markets through a meaningful career.

Erica is adventurous and curious, with a passion for learning that has been fostered through various international experiences throughout her life, particularly her three study abroad experiences in Mexico and France. In the future, Erica would like to pursue higher education for both her majors and work abroad to continue her love of seeing the world.

James King (he/him)

James King is a senior studying Finance and International Relations with a linguistic focus in Spanish, interested in the intersections of business and law globally. Through internships in Valuation, Equity Research, and Investment Banking, James has developed a passion for Energy Investment Banking across all financial products. 

Abbey Hochreiner (she/her)

Abbey Hochreiner is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Economics. Her interdisciplinary studies and experiences in Spain and Mexico have deepened her interest in analyzing the impact of global financial markets and economic policies on the communities they serve. Abbey is passionate about cross-cultural collaboration and thrives in environments where diverse perspectives come together to solve complex problems. 

Anna Francesca Hobbins (she/her)

Anna Hobbins is a senior studying Latin American Studies and Legal Studies in Business with a language concentration in Spanish and Portuguese. Through interdisciplinary coursework, immigration policy and advocacy internships and research assistantship, and teaching of English as a Second Language and citizenship classes, she has flourished in her interest in pursuing immigration law in the private and public sectors after graduation. She is passionate about applying legal frameworks to understand migratory movements better and work towards immigrant justice in the U.S.

Ayanna Hill (she/her)

Motivated to enact positive change, Ayanna Hill, a North Texas native, is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a dual bachelor's degree in political science with a concentration in international relations and management.

Through her passion for public service and international affairs, Ayanna has completed service projects and study abroad programs across the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Spain with the help of the Altman Program.

Sarah Quarles (she/her)

I am currently pursuing a BA in Political Science-International Development and a BSM in Finance and have accepted a full-time analyst role in Goldman Sachs' Wealth Management division. I am extremely passionate about immigration reform and hope to get involved in the field through volunteer work after starting my career in Dallas, TX, next summer. I look forward to exercising my two degrees to help advance both my career and passions.
