Tasfia Ahmed (she/her)

Hi! My name is Tasfia Ahmed, and I am from Dix Hills, New York! I am ecstatic to be part of the Altman Program, where I'm studying Arabic as my target language. My academic interests center on public policy, global affairs, and international relations. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, knitting, and baking. In high school, I was involved in DECA and several cultural clubs, including the Muslim Student Association and the Asian club. My goal in the Altman Program is to grow as a student and gain a new level of fluency in Arabic.
