Keeping up with Altmans: Three Boren Scholars in the 2021 Cohort!
We have not one, not two, but three Boren scholars this year!
This prestigious program provides generous funding to support study abroad in world regions deemed critical to U.S. interests. Sophomores Katie Latham, Grant Little, and Skye Turner of the 2021 cohort were awarded the scholarships to fund their studies abroad in junior year. Katie will be studying in Senegal, and Grant and Skye will both be studying in Brazil. In exchange for funding, Boren scholars commit to working in the federal government in the national security arena for at least one year after graduation.
