Matto Mildenberger (UC Santa Barbara) is a leading scholar whose work includes a focus on how business interests (and the labor businesses employ) shape climate policies globally, mediated by national political institutions. His recent book, Carbon Captured (MIT Press) examines business preferences and policy outcomes when it comes to national climate policies in the United States, Australia and Norway.
