Biography
Originally from New York, Rosalie Saladzius is a higher education professional with extensive experience in international student advising and student engagement. She holds a master’s degree in school counseling from Canisius College and began her career as a school counselor before transitioning into international education.
Rosa’s commitment to global education began in 2012 while supporting international student enrollment initiatives. Since then, she has worked with both domestic and international students at Santa Clara University, UCLA, and the University of Rochester, developing a broad foundation in advising, recruitment, and program support.
During her time at Santa Clara University, Rosa spent several months each year abroad, guiding prospective students and leading group travel throughout the Middle East and India. In addition to her international admissions work, she served as Director of the Student Ambassador Program and collaborated with the study abroad office to review applications and select participants for overseas programs.
Rosa is deeply committed to the value of cross-cultural learning and believes that international experiences are essential to developing cultural agility and global awareness.
